In Odriew restaurant
sometime in the evening:
Meet Raja, the
energetic child of a VIP at Odriew restaurant one fine Sunday evening at a
birthday party.
He never sits still, running here and there,
disturbing the other guests, here, or knocking off the glasses kept neatly
aligned in the table, there.
The child is a subject of great concern to the management
and ITC Kitchens of India who decide to
bring back a modicum of peace and balance in the room.
A waiter takes it
upon himself to whisk the wailing and energetic child away, and puts him in the
play area.
There the child is engaged in banging the car against the wall…
But, dear me, he
isn’t eating!
As the child speeds past the waiter, the waiter swiftly put
a morsel of food in his mouth…
…Which Raja immediately spits out…
…And speeds away.
A camera catches the energy of the moment and then turns its
eye on the boy… (Oh, dear!)
Unsuccessful at making him eat, the waiter leaves him to his
own devices.
Mayhem follows, all, all of which is recorded and uploaded
on YouTube. (Tsk, tsk)
At length the boy, tired of his own antics, makes his way to
the table. On his toes, he peers up at the spread and tastes each item but
unsatisfied moves on to the next.
He has reached the end of the table with nothing in his
stomach, when he dips his finger into a bowl.
Finger in mouth, his face registers confusion. He dips his
finger again and again at which point the waiter gives him a plate with just the
dish, which he laps up.
Unaware of the anxiety around him, the boy eats the food
with gusto to a thunderous applause.
Needless to say, he cleans up the bowl…
…But no hampers are gifted to him.
I wonder why.
Do you? (Wink, wink)
