A LEARNER, A DRIVER OR A FORMULA 1 RACER?
On the joyous occasion of Durga Puja to some and Navratri to others, I invite all the aspiring and talented copywriters to join me in our journey towards prosperity, luck and fame. I say ‘Ours’ because it is as much my duty as it is your talent to ensure that quality and not just quantity thrives as we create magic with our pens.
So dust off your portfolio and neatly bind all the best Spec Ads or published ones and the best as much as the good will be featured in my blog.
If you woo Lady Luck, who knows Dame Fame could smile at you at Cannes Lions 2012, right?
Well, not quite. You’re not quite there, but could be if your work was given the thumbs up by an agency.
Humble beginnings, but worth the effort, right?
Who am I and what gives me the gall to make such tall claims?
I hope the little note below suffices to tell you all.
Here’s looking to a great partnership, to you, kid!
WHAT DO I HAVE THAT OTHERS DON’T?
You might ask: What do I have that others don't?
To which my answer would be:
I offer you insightful thinking, unadulterated ad copy and a creative use of social media marketing expertise unrivalled in the industry.
I would most humbly like you to know, that within a short span of our relationship, I would like to help your brand take a bow in the Mecca of Advertising, the Cannes Lions, a privilege that finds a suitor in many, but is betrothed to only one.
Apart from my expertise in copywriting and branding, I have also used my skills in logo design and creative solutions in social media marketing. For instance, in a project on ITC’s yet-to-be-launched or named product in the confectionery category, I have visualized the concept right from the naming of the milk brand (I call it Nutramil) to the use of 30 odd social media marketing ideas that could be used to help create awareness of the brand and market it here in India as well as across the world. The duration of the marketing plan is the first year of its launch. As you can see, I take pride in giving my undivided attention to each and every brand that my clients entrust me with and treat each client, small, medium or large very seriously.
I have also lent my expertise in finding simple solutions for complex business problems and have offered my two cents on big brands such as Air India and the IT behemoths, Infosys and HP, with moderate success.
On a lighter note, I am also an author and playwright of a couple of books in each of the genres, although the contents of the books are not as light-hearted!
